Celebrating 50 Years of People, Purpose, and Preservation
Since 1976, our work has centered on the people we serve by providing purpose-driven resources that support household stability and preserving historic buildings as affordable homes that strengthen neighborhoods. For five decades, DeSales Community Development has been a trusted, steady presence in St. Louis neighborhoods through sustained housing investment, preservation, and resident-focused support.
On November 5, we will gather in the heart of our historic service area to recognize this milestone and reflect on the partnerships, projects, and people who have shaped our work. This evening marks both a celebration of progress and a continued commitment to neighborhood stability for generations to come.
Event Overview
The 50th Anniversary Celebration will be a cocktail-style reception held at Rung for Women in the JoAnn Kindle Community Room, located within DeSales’ historic service area, bringing together partners, residents, and supporters to recognize the progress made across the neighborhoods we serve. The evening will include brief remarks highlighting current development initiatives, preservation efforts, and the resident-centered work that continues to guide our mission.
Sponsorship of this event directly supports preservation work and resident-centered programs across the neighborhoods we serve. Sponsorship levels range from $1,000 to $20,000 and include event recognition and guest tickets, with support at each level connected to tangible community impact.
